Collaboration Details
Northbridge American Academy is expanding its outreach and visibility activities — information seminars, family meetings, presentations at partner institutions — and wants to partner with organizations that share this interest in education and student mobility. This is not a donation or a charitable contribution: Northbridge does not have registered charitable status and therefore cannot issue a tax receipt. It is rather a visibility partnership, at a scale and in forms that vary by organization.
Several forms of collaboration are possible. A university, school, or embassy can co-organize an information seminar with Northbridge, sharing the venue, audience, or event logistics. A company or institution may choose to sponsor a family information session, associating its name or image with it. An organization already active with the same audiences — families, students, schools — can also explore a form of cross-promotion, where each promotes the other's activities to its network. Finally, support in goods or services — materials, space, printing, translation — can also be a useful form of collaboration, depending on current needs.
The concrete benefits associated with each type of partnership remain to be defined on a case-by-case basis: there is currently no public pricing grid or sponsorship tiers. This is a recent initiative at Northbridge, and each collaboration is discussed individually, based on each organization's goals and means.
